Nicola’s sign of heavenly healing help
2:03pm Wednesday 17th March 2010

BURY businesswoman Nicola Hesketh called upon some divine inspiration in her quest to create an eye-catching focal point for her new shop.
A painting of a 6ft healing angel takes pride of place in the therapy room at her Bolton Road premises.
To mark the opening of Crystal Angels, a charity day raised £200 for the Stroke Association. Nicola chose her charity in memory of her father, Duncan, who died from a stroke last April.
She said: “I sell crystals, cards, gifts and jewellery. We also offer holistic therapies and are running workshops. There will also be mediums and readings.
“I’m a Reiki master and involved in Reiki healing and Indian head massage. There are also meditation evenings each Tuesday.”
Nicola is delighted that the premises are uhaving a new lease of life. They were opened in 1965 by her father and were used as an insurance brokers for many years. But the shop had been empty for the last nine years.
